Henry Crowder | Chief Operation Officer
Growing up in rural Virginia, I was fortunate to be raised by two parents that loved and appreciated food. My mother, Sharon was a chef here in the D.C. metropolitan area at both the Red Fox Inn and Ashby Inn before becoming a food critic for the Daily Press. From her, I learned the importance of a home cooked meal, well balanced diet, culinary techniques and overall appreciation for food.
After high school, I attended The University of Virginia at Wise where I graduated with a degree in Business Administration. During my years at UVA I began working as a server at Reno’s Roadhouse where I’d go on to become the General Manager. After deciding to move back home, I took a job in sales where I further developed my knowledge of how businesses operate. Then in 2010, while hosting a BBQ at my house in Arlington, I was introduced to the owner of To Your Taste Catering, Javier Quiroga. It only took a few minutes for us to begin talking food and business until we agreed that I would start a new career as a member of his sales team.
Together, we worked on growing and expanding the business and in 2013 he entrusted me with the role of Chief Operation Officer. As we continue to grow we remain focused on our core values.
