As a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, this Connecticut native settled in the WashingtonDC area in 1980 and worked my way from sous chef to executive chef that oversaw seven chefs. In the beginning of my career at various restaurants, I saw the DC culinary scene grow from a handful of restaurants to the culinary mecca it is today. I also saw the expansion of the culinary business during my time as a chef. After working various catered events through the restaurants, I decided to leave my kitchen whites behind and pursue a career in catering sales. My culinary background and knowledge of food trends give me a unique approach to creating menus tailored to each client’s particular needs. I find it very rewarding to be able to integrate a client’s idea, vision and personal touch to every event.

With over 20 years of experience, I still enjoy the creative process of planning and executing events.

I joined To Your Taste Catering in November of 2012 and enjoy the creative teamwork approach this company was founded upon, as well as, it’s philosophy on supporting local farms, fresh ingredients and seasonal trends.
